Bill Weiner, 51, is a former NCAA college baseball player. He is the founder of the Wisconsin Blizzard and has coached teams to 9 AAU championships, including state and national titles. Weiner appeared in Sports Illustrated in 1986 for making 71 straight free throws and he was twice named Player of the Week in the prestigious Fox Valley Pro-Am League, which featured many former professional and scholarship players. Weiner has many college contacts around the country.
Rich Kuranda, 48, is a former NCAA college football player at the University of North Texas. Kuranda played for one season in Europe in the German-American football league. Kuranda earned letters in football, basketball, wrestling and golf in high school. He started and ran the Player’s Choice basketball programs for 3 years.
Craig Hawley, 48, is a former all-state guard from Fond du Lac Springs who had 28 points and 15 assists in the 1982 WISAA state championship game. He went on to star at UW-Stevens Point where he scored 1000 points and became the State University Conference’s all-time assists leader. Hawley is currently head boys basketball coach at Hortonville. He is well known for his individual and group basketball instruction and is available for lessons.
Chris Kellett, 26, was a multi-sport standout at Neenah High School and went on to star in basketball and football at Ripon College. He is a top-notch recruiter and promoter of our program and a popular and successful coach. Chris currently is assistant basketball coach at Lawrence University.
